Aubrey Plaza

Aubrey Plaza (born June 26 April 1984) is a performer, comedian and known for expressing her humor in a deadpan manner. She plays April Ludgate on Parks and Recreation. Her first web series was the Jeannie Tate Show after she performed improv, sketch and slapstick at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. Her later work experience saw her was a part of Judd Apatow Funny People, Scott Pilgrim and the World. It is fitting to celebrate her birth today. Aubrey Christina Plaza was born in Wilmington Delaware the daughter of attorney Bernadette Plaza and Financial specialist David Plaza. Both of her parents are both Irish/English as well as Puerto Rican. Plaza was a student at an Catholic girls in 2002 through 2006 and then went to in 2006, she enrolled at the Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. She was president of her high school's student government and participated in Wilmington Drama League productions during her time as a senior. In 2004 while she was during her sophomore year of college, Plaza suffered a stroke which resulted in her being diagnosed with expressive aphasia, as well as a prolonged period of paralysis. The patient is now fully recovered. Plaza is a performer of improv, and sketches at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater since 2004. She has also presented stand-up comedy shows at the Laugh Factory and The Improv in N.Y.C. Plaza appeared on E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street & The Jeannie Tate Show playing the role of Robin Gibney and was also in the role of Ben Schwartz, as well being a character on Robin Gibney for the premiere episode of Terrible Decisions. She played the Princess, a satirical sci fi role on CollegeHumor Troopers. Plaza's saxophone debuted in the film Cassorla Bona Fide, 2014. But she made her debut in Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings' in 2012. HarmonQuest included Plaza in 2016 as Hawaiian Coffee the gnome. In addition, she played Aaron Burr in Drunk History, and Cat Adams for Season 11 of the C.B.S. Criminal Minds, a TV serial. The character of actress was revived by Plaza in Season 12. It was announced a year after that Plaza will be a part of an independent comedy called An Evening With Beverly Luff Linn.
